The National Sports Committee of Indonesia and the Training Center of Papua have a heavy duty to deliver the Land of Cenderawasih contingent, sitting in the top five of the upcoming National Sports Week (PON) XX 2021.

Nevertheless, the responsibility is not only the burden of The National Sports Committee of Indonesia and the Training Center of Papua. It is the burden that must be borne with the trainers as the party that fostered and managed athletes to win the championship. 

"For this reason, I remind all trainers and assistant trainers to follow every training briefing as well as possible."

It is said, to achieve achievement, both now and in the future, the challenge is getting heavier. Quality trainers are needed in order to improve athlete performance in order to compete with other regions.

Therefore, technical guidance activities on the application of basic principles of coaching and the periodization benefits for coaching athletes are considered very important. Because high achievers are born through great coaches.

"Therefore, as coaches do not get bored-ordination add the latest science to be given to the athletes. So that the athlete will be able to compete for good achievements at national and even international levels, "he appealed.

Chairman of the organizing committee, Freddy Sokoy hopes 80 coaches from 38 sports branches will be able to maximize the available material to deliver all their athletes to a medal.

"Indeed the implementation of the PON is postponed to next year, but we must prepare athletes so they can win a medal at the time of the PON implementation, "he concluded.
