84 Medical Officers With Confirmed COVID-19, Jayapura Regional Hospital Changes Service Policy
Jayapura Hospital management is forced to change service policies, following 84 medical officers exposed to coronavirus or Covid-19.
The amended service policy, which only opens two inpatient rooms (infectious and non-infectious), for men and women can only be guarded by one family.

"This decision came into effect today (July 8, 2020) until further notice," explained director of Jayapura Regional Hospital, Dent. Aloysius Giyai to the press, Wednesday.
In addition, for the treatment room that still does the service, among others; IGD Room (emergency installation), hemodialysis, ICU, obstetrics and gynecology, perinatology/infants, children, class I and lung space.
For a while the VIP inpatient room is temporarily canceled.

Meanwhile, 84 of Jayapura Regional Hospital medical staffs are exposed to coronavirus, consisting of 5 general practitioners and specialists, 46 of nurses and midwives, 13 of laboratory officers, 4 of nutritional officers, 1 of pharmacist, 6 of administrators, 6 of cleaning service, 2 of VCT volunteers and 1 security.
Of the 84 officers who were exposed, 15 of them have been declared cured, while the rest are awaiting swab test results and this time they had been laid off for 2 weeks.
Today, there are 68 officers still treated in Sahid Hotel, 2 patients in Abepura Regional Hospital, 2 people in Bhayangkara Hospital, 3 more in Provita Hospital, 1 person in Marthen Indey Hospital and there are 8 people self-isolating.
