The Governor of Papua, Lukas Enembe confirms that it has received three candidates for the Regional Secretary, high leader in Papua, from a selection team led by the Director General of Regional Autonomy Ministry of Home Affairs.

Three candidates, who have been declared to pass the final test, will then be handed over to the Final Assessors Team, which is led by the President through the Ministry of Home Affairs.

"The Assessors Team will choose only one person of three candidates as what the President decided, that is what we will acknowledge as the government of Papua, "explained Enembe at the Government Liaison Agency Office of Papua in Jakarta, Monday (July 13^th, 2020).

Unknown, three names passed the final test as the candidate of the Papua government, namely Doren Wakerkwa, Wasuok Demianus Siep and Dance Yulian Flassy.

According to Lukas, although he was in the post-recovery phase of the treatment at the Army Central Hospital (RSPAD) Gatot Soebroto in Jakarta, all stages of the selection remained in his monitoring.

Because he has a strong desire that the Papua Provincial Government immediately has a definitive Regional Secretary, to support the process of implementing development on the Land of Cenderawasih.

"Because there will be the agenda of elections upcoming. In fact, Papua is facing a Covid-19 pandemic that needs strategic policies. So I need a Regional Secretary".

"So we hope that with the definitive Regional Secretary, there will be best decisions to help the implementation of Community development and welfare in Papua," he wished.

On that occasion, Lukas thanked the selection team who had worked hard and quickly and pushed the execution to the three names to be handed over to the President.

He also thanked the Papuan Regional Secretary, Ridwan Rumasukun who worked hard to prepare the selection process well, in a short time.
