The Regional Education Library and Regional Archive of Papua Ask for High School in Sarmi Remains Full of All Registrants
Two of Senoir High Schools in Sarmi District are considered to be overwhelmed by new students in the 2020/2021 academic year, schools management must add a new room and even open a tent to accommodate the students.
That’s why the Regional Education Library and Regional Archive of Papua (DPPAD) of Papua requested that all students be accommodated even if they had to add new space.
"I have already commanded SMA YPPK and SMA N 1 Sarmi to increase the room so that all students are acceptable".
"All graduates from Juinor High School must be able to be accommodated in Senior High School, in the current Covid-19 situation. In the same way, all Elementary School Students should be accommodated in Junior High Schools. The former Regional Secretary of Lanny Jaya, said in fact Sarmi Regency has three schools to have a high level. Only the parents prefer to enroll their children in SMA Negeri 1 and YPPK, which are considered to be excellent schools.
Therefore, he asked for the school to enforce the zoning system, so that people can enter schools that are close to the student's domicile.
While for the long term, he will encourage schools to change their image into good educational institutions.
"So we are stacking the indicator, so that all schools have a similar image of excellence. Among them the school management must be open. Then the means must be available. The human resources must be completed".
"The last, school condition must have a library, study room and information technology system. If all schools are so surely we are optimistic that there is no more excellent school because all of them have the same image, "he said.
Previously, the Vice Chairman II of the House of Representatives of Papua, Edoardus Kaize, SS asked the relevant authorities in the province to intervene and proactively completed the issue of the enrollment of new students at two of Senior High School in Sarmi.
