The Papua Provincial Government ensures immediate incentive or compensation for the medical staff funded by the Regional Government Budget 2020.

The head of the Daily Task Force for prevention and handling Covid-19 Papua, Welliam R. Manderi hopes that the The Medical Staffs should be patient because the budget disbursement is awaiting the administration process in the local financial management.

"The obvious incentive for the Medical Staffs of Papua provincial government has been prepared. The incentive payment will be directly paid to the health worker who handles Covid-19 patients, "said Welliam in Jayapura, Monday (July 20, 2020).

According to him, the Papua provincial government is very concerned with the welfare of the medical staff, they will get incentives or compensation to support and give motivation to the officers who handle Covid-19 patients.

On the other hand, the compensation given was different from the incentives that dropped from the budget of the Minister of Health. The incentive funded by the Regional Government Budget from 2020 is channeled to the Department of Health or to the hospital.

"The point is that we estimate the payment in the near term. It is definitely distributed directly to medical personnel, "he asserted again.

It is known that incentives will be paid to the health staff working at BPSDM and Balai Diklat.

In addition, the government also prepares incentive funds for several proposals from hospital partners.
