Papua Government Center Moved to Koya
The Papua Provincial Government began rolling out the discourse of moving the government center from Dok II area to East Koya, Muara Tami District, Jayapura City.
The plan was strengthened by a review of the new government area in East Koya, by Papua Governor Lukas Enembe with the ranks, Wednesday (9/30/2020) evening.
The new Papua Governor's Office is planned to stand on an area of 384 hectares includes the office of the Regional Device Organization (OPD) as well as the ASN service house.
"The target is that this big plan will begin in 2021. It was attempted so that the construction could be completed before the end of Governor Lukas Enembe's term," explained Acting Papua Secretary Doren Wakerkwa, after the review.
Doren asked for the support of all parties so that the great work could be realized because it was the campaign promise of Papua Governor Lukas Enembe and Deputy Governor Klemen Tinal in the past.
This discourse was made because of the condition of the central government in Jayapura city today that is increasingly crowded and inadequate anymore.
"Certainly starting next year will be a review, design and all planning immediately prepared by the PUPR Office. We will discuss the environmental impact issue, determine the payment and settlement of the land, and this work will finish as soon as possible," he explained.
The head of PUPR papua office, Girius One Yoman ensured that the office building of the Governor of Papua in East Koya would be the most magnificent building in Indonesia.
It is not difficult to be realized considering that there are already many international-class venues built for PON XX 2021.
