Regent (interim) of Keerom Urged the Public to Put Forward Dialogue for Problem Solving
Regent (interim) of Keerom, Ridwan Rumasukun urged the local community to have a dialogue to solve the problem.
He made sure he was ready to discuss with any community that needed help, to create a sense of fairness for all parties.
“If there are things that are not pleasing to you, please channel them through the existing path. As long as I am here I am ready to discuss (with the community), "explained Ridwan in response to the vandalism and burning of two offices in his area, Friday (2/10/2020).
Regarding the demands of the masses, he continued, the Keerom Regency Government has actually tried to accommodate the percentage of the distribution of the quota of 80 percent for indigenous Papuans (OAP) and 20 percent for the public.
However, due to the lack of OAP applicants in some technical formations, such as health or education personnel, the position is filled by qualified general applicants.
"The Civil Servant Candidate acceptance formation 2018, the realization is 60-40. The Regional Staffing Agencies have tried to make the result 80-20 in accordance with the provisions of the Ministry of Empowerment and State Apparatus Bureaucratic Reform. There are only technical formations that cannot be filled by Papuans because of the low number of applicants." explained Ridwan.
He ensured open opportunities for job seekers who did not qualify for The Civil Servant Candidate 2018 selection is included in the 20,000 formations provided by the Ministry of Empowerment and State Apparatus Bureaucratic Reform for the government in Papua.
"There is a formation of 20,000 Civil Servant Candidate for the Papua Province, if divided equally, then Keerom will get about 600, and this will be controlled by The Regional Staffing Agencies and the Regional House of Representatives ".
"For that, let’s keep order together. Because the Keerom Regional Government continues to strive to make this area better, more prosperous and more peaceful," he said.
The Regent (interim) Keerom, Ridwan Rumasukun immediately held a Forkompinda Meeting in Mapolres Keerom, Friday (2/10/2020) afternoon, addressing the burning of two local government offices.
As a result of the decision, it is ensured that the governance process will continue as usual. Meanwhile, employees of the Labor Department and BPMK whose offices are under fire will move to autonomous offices.
Earlier, Thursday (1/10/2020) afternoon, about 250 job seekers staged a protest action over the announcement of the selection results of Civil Servant Candidate Keerom District formation 2018.
The action led to the destruction of the regent's office and the burning of the offices of the Labor Department and BPMK Keerom.
