Set Foot In Waropen, Regent (interim) Musa’ad Welcomed in Tradition


Regent (interim) of Waropen, Muhammad Musa'ad set foot in the fractional district of Yapen Waropen, Sunday (4/10/2020) evening around 1:30 pm

Musa'ad who arrived at Kali Sanggei Pier, Urei Faisei District, was greeted with traditional dances and stepped on plates by the Regional People's Representatives Council, Forkompinda, Community leaders, religious leaders, youth leaders, women leaders and leaders of Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD)

After the welcome, Pjs Regent Musa'ad with all the elements present then performed hospitality at Merpati Hotel, Urei Faisei District. On that occasion, he explained the five main tasks as regent.

"First I explained that it is my duty to succeed in the Regional Election. The second is how I can create security and peace in Waropen equally with the security component (TNI/Polri)".

"Then the third one, I was delegated to be the Head of Covid Task Force of Waropen in order to do prevention and countermeasures. The fourth encouraged discussion of Regional Government Budget and the issuance of health protocol discipline legal products and the fifth was authorized to replace structural officials who violated the rules," Musa'ad explained in his statement to the editor by phone, Sunday night.

Musa'ad said that in the next few days he will meet the leaders of the Regional People's Representatives Council, Forkompinda, the leaders of Regional Apparatus Organizations and all State Civil Apparatus.

With all the elements in Waropen, he hopes that the implementation of the election can be successful but safe from covid-19 transmission.

"This is all we will do in the context of two main things for my existence in Waropen, namely the success of the Regional Election but the second is safe from Covid-19." he said.
