PON Papua Chairman Yunus Wonda confirmed the inauguration of Papua Bangkit Stadium (Spaba) into Lukas Enembe which is planned to be attended by 40 thousand people on October 20, 2020, will continue to promote health protocols.

Every citizen who enters the stadium is also required to show non-reactive rapid test results. While for each stand will only be filled about 50 percent.

"Then there are the seat arrangements on each stand. And the important thing is that each of them who enters the stadium must wear a mask," explained Yunus in Jayapura, Monday (5/10/2020).

He admitted, in the current pandemic, it is unwise to gather large numbers of people but it's hard to stop the enthusiasm of the community at the time it's held.

Because in addition to inaugurating the stadium, also held a Kick Off event PON XX 2020, the inauguration of the entire venue as well as the change of Sentani Airport to Theys Eluay.

Then, thanksgiving service, the report from the Head of Papua Social Service about OAP number as well as the delivery of readiness of athletes ahead of PON 2021 by KONI Papua.

"Certainly in this activity PON Papua committee will involve all areas of health protocols, both in the province,  also districts and cities".

"But we also ask for future community cooperation in order to be disciplined in carrying out health protocols," he said.

While regarding restrictions on activities in Jayapura Regency until 5 pm, Yunus said he would meet the local regent to ask for time off.

"No later than 9 pm. The reason for mobilizing people home from the stadium took a long time," he explained.

Yunus ensured PON Papua committee would provide bus rides for the people who would attend the Stadium.
