Regional Apparatus Organization Performance Will Be Evaluated Next Month

Papua's Regional Staffing Agency (BKD) will evaluate the performance of the Regional Apparatus Organization (OPD) in February 2021.

The performance evaluation, as instructed by Acting Regional Secretary of Papua Doren Wakerkwa, was delivered in the morning briefing, recently.

"Next February, we will evaluate the performance of each Regional Apparatus Organization as instructed by the leadership," said Head of Regional Staffing Agency of Papua Nicolaus Wenda in Jayapura, Thursday (1/28/2021).

Nicolaus also confirmed that he will review the duties given to the Department and Rank Consideration Board team in each Regional Apparatus Organization.

"They will be tasked with assessing the performance of all staff, ranging from Echelon III, IV to staff," he explained.

Asked if there were any sanctions, Nicolaus replied that the Law regulates the provision of strict sanctions for employees who do not perform well.

"For echelons III and IV officials will be replaced if the evaluation results perform lower than standard. Because our duty as State Civil Servant is clear, given the position not because it is great but it is to work and serve the public," he said.

He reminded all State Civil Servants to perform well and carry out basic tasks and functions as appropriate. Because the Acting Secretary of Papua has instructed mutations for low-performing State Civil Servant, as a refresher effort to maximize duties and principals in order to precisely target in public service.
