Four pairs of regional heads of regional elections simultaneously 2020, appointed Governor Lukas Enembe at the State Building Dok V  Jayapura, Wednesday (3/3/2021) by implementing strict health protocols.

Deputy Governor of Papua Klemen Tinal represented the Governor in his direction and advised the regional heads of regional elections in 2020, not to forget and ignore the people who have chosen him to be the regional leader, in his region.

"The people have entrusted you to lead the region, so never forget or ignore them," he said.

He reminded that regional heads use the existing budget to build their areas because the district government in the provincial government policy manages Special Autonomy funds by 80 percent.

"This means that the regents and deputy regents after this inauguration immediately return to their respective regions to run the government by managing the entire budget for the benefit of the community".

"The heads and deputy heads of regions should also be a light for the community and immediately develop the RPJMD so that the vision and mission becomes an agenda that can be realized immediately. So it's not just a discourse," Tinal said.

Deputy Governor Tinal on that occasion asked the regents and vice regents to improve coordination with the Papua Provincial Government as representatives of the central government.

"Do not make additional moves after being appointed immediately by directly going to Jakarta, because it will not happen. Please coordinate with us in the provincial government,".

While the four couples appointed respectively Regent and Deputy Regent Keerom Piter Gusbager - Wafhir Kosasi, Regent and Deputy Regent Merauke Romanus Mbaraka - H. Riduwan. 

Furthermore, the pair of Regent and Deputy Regent of Asmat Elisa Kambu - Thomas Eppe Safanpo, and the pair of Regent and Vice Regent of Pegunungan BIntang Spey Yan Birdana - Piter Kalakmabin.
