The Grand Committee of National Sports Week (PB PON) XX Papua announced the implementation of the second Chef de Mission (CdM) meeting, postponed to April 5, 2021, in Jayapura.

The decision to change the schedule of CDM meeting, based on the results of an agreement with the board of National Sports Week Committee and Central KONI in Jakarta.

"Our meeting with the Chairman of Central KONI agreed on a CDM meeting from the original schedule of 23 to 26 March 2021, shifted to April 5, 2021 in Jayapura," explained the Daily Chairman of National Sports Week Committee Yunus Wonda, after meet the Chairman of Central KONI, Marciano Norman, in Jakarta, Wednesday (17/3/2021).

While on the agenda of the CDM meeting, Yunus ensured that the entire committee would present various technical matters related to preparations as a host at the National Sports Week event.

The Board of Trustees of PON XX 2021 Papua is also certain to provide briefings on all areas in the management of National Sports Week Committee, in order to maximize services for athletes and officials upon arrival in Papua.

Separately, Vice Chairman I of Central KONI, Suwarno requested that the results of the CDM meeting be immediately disseminated to all clusters by each field.

"After the CDM meeting is over, I want to push the committee down to the cluster. Policy makers from each field must be able to convey what policies should be done by clusters of districts and cities".

"So they will obviously do what should be directed, with regard to transportation, consumption, accommodation, health and others. So there is no doubt that the description of National Sports Week Committee policy, will be implemented in the entire cluster. And we are ready to help," he concluded.
