Anton Mote who was appointed Deputy Governor of Papua Klemen Tinal at the State Building, Jayapura, Monday (3/29/2021) morning, will be tasked with overseeing the implementation of the re-vote in all polling stations, as the result of the decision of the Constitutional Court. 

Anton was also obliged to prepare for the appointment of a new head and deputy head of the region.

"The newly appointed Acting Regent Nabire already knows his duties, like the previous acting for how successful the election," explained Deputy Governor Klemen on the sidelines of the interview.

Klemem also asked the Acting Regent to immediately coordinate with all parties in Nabire to ensure the implementation of local elections run safely and peacefully.

Meanwhile, Acting Regent Anton Mote told the press that he immediately conducted a meeting with the relevant parties in Nabire, Tuesday (tomorrow), in order to consolidate the matters necessary for the orderly and smoothness of Nabire elections.

"The task is in accordance with the decision of the Court to carry out recapitulation and then there is an improvement in DPT in accordance with the instructions of the Court and the Director General of Dukcapil".

"Then we prepare a budget schedule up to the implementation. That's all that becomes the main task, the rest of the others as usual carry out the task of controlling how the government in Nabire can run well," he explained.

While questioning the re-voting budget, Anton has not been informed. He immediately delivered a public statement, after receiving a report from his staff.
