KONI Operators from 34 Provinces Undergo Technical Guidance in Jayapura

A total of 34 operators of the Indonesian National Sports Committee (KONI) province in Indonesia, Monday (3/29/2021), in Jayapura, underwent Technical Guidance Entry Phase II (By Name). 

The event was officially opened by General Secretary of National Sports Week Committee Elia Loupatty, at one of Jayapura's four-star hotels.

Elia Loupatty on that occasion appreciated the presence of KONI operators throughout Indonesia, who according to him are equally committed to the success of National Sports Week XX 2021.

Because during the National Sports Week event in Indonesia, there has never been such a meeting. Where there are a number of innovations, related to the National Sports Week contingent registration process using the online application system (internet). 

"I think this is our joint commitment to succeed in the implementation of National Sports Week XX in the Papua Province, whose implementation is spread across 3 districts and 1 city".

"Therefore, on this occasion I hope the operators of each KONI, can take advantage of the Technical Guidance to ask a lot about the application. Because do not get at the time of registration athletes have difficulties," he urged.

Meanwhile, Chairman of the Organizing Committee Totok A Irianto hopes that the Technical Guidance can facilitate the operators in registering all athletes and officials who will visit Papua.

"The current reason that applies is the online registration process. So everything must be registered online anyway.

Technical Guidance for KONI operators throughout Indonesia is planned to last for five days (March 29 to April 2, 2021).

The total activity was attended by 100 KONI operators as well as presenters from the board of trustees of National Sports Week Committee, Central KONI Legality Team.

President Joko Widodo has also given direction in a limited meeting with all ministers, that National Sports Week in Papua will still be held on 2 to 15 October 2021.

While some sports will start to be contested on September 21, 2021.
