Assistant I Doren Wakerkwa said that the training aims to increase the capacity of the State Civil Apparatus in supervision and administrators. "This training is an effort to encourage and improve the ability of State Civil Apparatus in innovating in serving the community and carrying out basic tasks as a state apparatus," he said.
Wakerkwa explained that by the training, they can create a more efficient work system in responding and serving quickly the needs of the community. "We hope this training can encourage State Civil Apparatus in Papua to improve performance and service to the community. In the past, the work system was not compatible with the current conditions, they can innovate in their respective offices to improve services."
In the same place the head of Human Resources Development Agency Papua, Aryoko Rumaropen, SP, M.Eng, said this training is a process for State Civil Apparatus in pursuing a career as a public servant. Therefore, the training is adjusted to the career level and competence of State Civil Apparatus.
"The career of the employee who occupies the position begins from the training process. And that has to be taken from basic training.
The career management is also adjusted to the competence of the State Civil Apparatus," he said.
Rumaropen suggested that in accordance with the new provisions, the current career level process is different from previous times. In the past, career-level training was called Leadership Training but now changed to Leadership Training of Apparatus in the field of administration and Leadership Training of Apparatus for the Supervisory level.
"The process is step by step. The training is held under new regulation. If it used to be called Leadership Training then it has now changed to The Training of Apparatus Leadership in the Field of Administration and Training of Personnel Leadership at the supervisory level, namely the level at the Structural Echelon III and IV," said Rumaropen.
On this occasion, Aryoko also asked the participants to follow the training well so that when returning to their respective places of duty, they can create new innovations in terms of work, especially in human resources development services.
