The Regional Education, Library and Archives Department of Papua : Do Not Let the Corruption, Collusion and Nepotism In The Registration of ADIK and ADEM Program

The Regional Education, Library and Archives Department of Papua province expects the Secondary Education Affirmation (ADEM) and Higher Education Affirmation (ADIK) programs to be prioritized for children whose families are underprivileged.

Head of the Education, Library and Archives Office of Papua Christian Sohilait also reminded that there is no practice of Corruption, Collusion and Nepotism (KKN) in the registration of ADIK-ADEM programs in districts and cities.

"This is so that all Papuan youth can enjoy a decent education," he explained in Jayapura on Wednesday.

Christian said the enthusiasm of participants to join the ADIK and ADEM programs this year is quite high. Where the agency is very overwhelmed accommodates every participant who registers from districts / cities in Papua.

"Although the quota for ADIK and ADEM programs each reaches 450 people, students who want to join the program in 2021 are quite high".

"On average each district and city sends 12 students, although some are below but some areas are quite high in number where the City and District of Jayapura, each number of applicants reached 121 people and above 40 people," he explained.

Therefore, in response to the high interest in the program, there is expected to be an increase in quotas in the coming year.

"Because of the high enthusiasm for ADIK and ADEM program proves that the socialization that we have done is successful. Where the interest of children to join ADIK and ADEM programs is increasing from year to year," he concluded.
