Sand and Indoor Volleyball Equipment Immediately Sent to Jayapura

The Papua National Sports Week (PB PON) Grand Committee ensures sand and indoor volleyball equipment is immediately shipped to Jayapura by the provider.

That is after the Goods and Services Inspection Team of National Sports Week (PB PON) Grand Committee ensures that all equipment held by third parties is feasible and in accordance with specifications and has international standards.

"Earlier we have examined the equipment of sand volleyball and indoor volleyball held by Orindo Prima Company in their warehouse, in Ruko Mega Grosir Cempaka Mas, Blok D1, Jakarta, where we are also accompanied by the Technical Delegate (TD) and all goods according to complete and international standard specifications.

"There are only a few goods that must be equipped with administrative documents, including customs delivery requirements and international certificates," chairman of the Audit Team of Goods and Services of National Sports Week (PB PON) Grand Committee Papua, Purwanti, told the press on Thursday in Jakarta.

The Technical Delegate Sports Branch (Cabor) Volleyball Indoor, Regi Nelwan believes all equipment held by the provider is in accordance with specifications and eligible to be functioned in the upcoming National Sports Week XX October 2021.

"By our observations, the tools that have been used for indoor volleyball is in accordance with the specifications. And it's actually also based on our suggestion as a TD and we believe the equipment we recommend is very qualified, not only nationally, but also internationally," he said.

Meanwhile, Technical Delegate Representative of The Sports Branch (Cabor) Of Sand Volleyball, Anderson Marbun hopes that the existing sand volleyball equipment can be immediately sent to Jayapura for the purposes of a test event for athletes.

"We hope this item is immediately shifted to Papua because there is a possibility that we do a test event. So we can use it as an exercise for the committee there as well," he said

Known, sand and indoor volleyball equipment was imported from Japan by contractors Orindo Prima Company.

Previously a number of equipment such as shooting, rowing and billiard were confirmed to have arrived in the country. Especially for shooting equipment, it has now been installed in the venue in Kampung Harapan and Auri Sentani, Jayapura district.
