DPPAD Papua targets all High School/Vocational teachers should be vaccinated before new school year
The Education, Library and Regional Archives Department (DPPAD) of Papua Province targets all high school/vocational/SLB teachers in Papua having been vaccinated COVID-19 before entering the new school year 2021/2022.
The target by reason, because in addition to providing COVID-19-free guarantees, the education office will not pay employee income allowance (TPP) for high school/vocational/SLB teachers who have not been vaccinated.
"The new school year is approaching. Therefore, we target and encourage that the vaccination of high school / vocational / SLB teachers is completed before the new school year".
"All staff and teachers and education personnel have to carry out vaccinations so TPP will not be withheld" explained head of DPPAD of Papua, Christian Sohilait in Jayapura on Monday.
He on that occasion urged the regional government of all regions in Papua to participate in encouraging vaccines for all educators.
Because by vaccinating, we can break the chain of transmission of COVID-19 that is currently starting to "break".
"Therefore, internally I have started to enforce the rules in my office, in the education office of Doc 9 and the Public Library in Kotaraja and the Archival Field in Entrop in order to mandatory vaccines".
"This means that all guests, staff and teachers who will visit these three places are those who have been vaccinated," he added.
Known, the new school year 2021/2022 will take place simultaneously and start on July 12.
