Equalizing Perception, Papua COVID-19 Task Force Meets Papua Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkompinda)
To improve coordination and equalize perception (view) in the handling of the coronavirus, Thursday (5/8/2021) evening, the Papua COVID-19 Task Force team conducted a road show to the Papua Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkompinda).
The Papua COVID-19 Task Force team was led by Assistant for Economic and Welfare Affairs of the Papuan Secretary, Muhammad Musa'ad, who on that occasion submitted a Circular Letter of the Governor of Papua No. 440/8963/SET, on the Implementation of Restrictions on Community Activities (PPKM) of COVID-19 Papua.
During the visit, the Papua COVID-19 Task Force team was received by Papua Attorney General, Kalanti Papua, The Chief of Papua Police and Commander of Military Territorial Commands XVI Cenderawasih.
This was conveyed by the Head of the Communication and Informatics Department (Kominfo) of Papua, Jeri A. Yudianto, to reporters by phone.
On that occasion, according to Jeri, Assistant Musa'ad conveyed directly to Papua Regional Leadership Coordination Forum that the Community Activities Restrictions policy in Papua is the same as that set by the Central Government.
Papua Province only strengthens the Community Activities Restrictions, especially in terms of restrictions on passengers of ships entering Papua.
As for the airway, tightening is done by doing random double scanning on passengers entering Papua.
"In principle, the Forkompinda welcomed the Governor's policy as seen by visiting this afternoon. In fact, they will give their full support to the Community Activities Restrictions ".
"More specifically, the acceleration of vaccine delivery for the community, even the Indonesia National Army/ Police has expressed readiness to collaborate technically in the field, in an effort to break the chain of COVID-19 in Papua," concluded Jeri.
