The Governor Enembe Arrives in Jayapura Tuesday Morning
The governor of Papua, Lukas Enembe, S.IP, MH will arrive in Jayapura on Tuesday (July, 14th 2020) to re-run his duties as regional head.
The governor underwent medical treatment for three months in Jakarta, he has recovered to return to carrying out his duties.
"According to the doctor, I have to rest a total of 3 to 4 months. I told all Papuans that my health had improved, so I would return to Papua soon."
"I will leave for Papua on Tuesday (July, 14th 2020). Personally, I give thanks to all people in Papuan who have prayed for me continuously," said The Governor Enembe in the description of the press in Jakarta, Monday (July, 13th 2020).
The Governor also expressed his gratitude to the central government, especially the President of Indonesia, Jokowi, who has ordered the Minister of Health, Terawan to help him during his stay in hospital.
"I would like to thank the President and Minister of Health and also the medical staff who have treated me while in the hospital until I can go out and return to Papua,".
Appreciation is also conveyed to the Vice Governor of Papua, the Regional Police Chief, the Military Commander, the Attorney General’s Office and the elements of Papua Local Government for support, cooperation and prayers that are to be extended to the recovery and service the community in the middle of the Covid-19 outbreak.
"I also thank all the regional leadership coordination forums of Papua, who have been in the process of the Governor's duties during this time in handling the Covid-19 and other governmental agenda. Let God reply to all the goodness. I convey a lot of gratitude to the Vice Governor, Klemen Tinal." explained the Governor, Lukas Enembe.
The governor added during his health recovery, he always monitors and coordinates with elements of the regional leaders."
I also monitor the development of governance in Papua continuously during the health treatment for about 3 months. I did coordination and communication with the Vice Governor, the Regional Police Chief, the Military Commander, the Attorney General’s Office and all elements of the regional leadership." said Lukas Enembe.
