The Papua provincial government encourages Biak Numfor District to be a referral center for Covid-19 in the Saireri region.

It was also related to the construction of the Covid Referral Hospital in the "Coral City" by the central government.

"Covid Papua's team is going to visit five areas that are the epicenter (the center of the outbreak), namely Jayapura City, Jayapura Regency, Biak Regency, Keerom Regency and Mimika District".

"For a visit to Biak, we want to ensure that the building of the hospital of referral Covid which is a program from the center, whether it is complete with medical equipment or not. With hope later can be (encouraged to be a referral center) Saereri region, "explained Regional Secretary of Papua Muhammad Musa'ad in Jayapura, Monday (August 10, 2020).

In addition, Musa'ad continued, Papua provincial government will meet the team of Biak District Task Force, in order to synergize the prevention and handling of Covid-19.

“This includes disseminating information to the public on how to apply health protocols in people's daily lives”.

"That way, we hope the effort to break the spread chain can be carried out well," he said.

He added, the Coronavirus is really real. For that, he hopes all parties can avoid the dangers of such virus transmission by running health protocols.

 “The main thing is discipline and obeying principles. Then follow the health protocol so you can avoid Covid-19”.
