Department of Education, Library and Regional Archives: The Students in Papua Need Masks

Department of Education, Libraries and regional archives (DPPAD) the Papua province knocks the hearts of the parties in order to donate masks to school throughout Papua.

"The children really need masks. As in Supiori District, the school was open for a week, but because of the lack of a mask of the blackout we closed back ".

"For that we hope there is the help of masks from the parties, as an effort to fight Covid pandemic in Papua," said head of Department of Education, Library and Regional Archives, Christian Sohilait in Jayapura, Tuesday (August 18, 2020).

The former Regional Secretary Lanny Jaya also appreciated the division of masks for school in Papua, as the wife of Minister of Home Affairs Tito Karnavian, Tri Suswati, also as a driving team to empower family welfare (PKK) 2019-2024.

He hopes the mask can be distributed immediately, so that the students can wear it when they follow face to face at school.

Previously, the wife of the Minister of Home Affairs donated 150 masks to children in Papua.

The submission of a mask by TP PKK vice chairman of Papua Province, Yolanda Tiamal, was accepted by the representatives of the Family Association of Education (IKAPTK) Papua province, Recky Ambrau, Monday (August 17, 2020), at Sasana Karya of the governor office, Jayapura.

After getting the help of the mask, Yolanda Tinal plans to make another procurement to add a mask that will be given to the students.

"It is planned by PKK to make for a mask for students".

"The point is we care deeply about children but also mothers. So that we will continue to encourage the division of masks for children and mothers can be done continuously," he said.
