It was delivered by the Deputy Governor after appointing hundreds of officials virtually, Friday (8/27/2020), in Jayapura.

"As of Monday (August 31, 2020), all appointed Echelon III and IV Officials must have been able to work together with the leadership of his agency to build Papua in accordance with the Governor's vision and mission, namely to make Papua independent, fair and equitable," explained Deputy Governor.

He advised that all these officials carry out the two main tasks assigned to them. First, officials must understand that their position is an extension of the central government in the regions. Thus, provincial officials are obliged to coordinate with districts and cities.

Second, because coincidentally the person concerned exists and is designated as an official in Papua, it is mandatory to implement Law no. 21 of 2001 concerning Special Autonomy for Papua purely, consequently and consistently. That's our entire job.” he explained.

The Deputy Governor on occasion asked the appointed officials to support the leader whatever the situation and conditions. He hopes that solidarity will be created to advance work programs, especially in serving the community.

"And if there is a problem there is no need to shout, there is a mechanism that can be taken. The point is I ask that we in the province should be compact so that people respect the Papuan government".

"Surely these echelon III and IV officials are spearheads in succeeding the programs in each OPD. To that, let's all join hands with each other's leaders to succeed the governor's vision and mission," he concluded.

It is known that the virtual inauguration of hundreds of Echelon III and IV officials in the Papua Province environment was held symbolically at the Dok V State Building over Jayapura.
