Governor Lukas Enembe Distributes 5,000 Masks in Keerom Regency
Papua Governor Lukas Enembe handed over 5,000 masks to the Keerom Government, in an effort to prevent Covid-19 transmission in the fractional region of Jayapura Regency.
The mask was handed over by The Assistant General of the Regional Secretary of Papua, Ridwan Rumasukun to Regional Secretary Keerom, Blasius Waluyo Sejati, Wednesday (9/30/2020).
Ridwan said that the mask is a form of attention of Governor Lukas Enembe who is currently focused on fighting Covid-19 transmission throughout the world. For previously, similar assistance has also been distributed to almost all districts and cities in the Papua Province.
“Indeed, the momentum of the inauguration of the Provisional Regent was used by the Governor of Papua, Lukas Enembe, to distribute masks. This is certainly to cut the chain of transmission of Covid-19. And it also happens that seven regents were recently appointed so this momentum is used to hand over masks to their respective task places. And I delivered it to Keerom," he explained.
The Secretary of Keerom, Blasius Waluyo Sejati will continue to distribute the mask to areas that have a high number of transmissions.
That way, the recipient of mask assistance is also expected to be able to run health protocols.
