Proposed Budget Changes 2020 of Keerom 876,004 billion IDR

Keerom Regency Government submitted a proposal for a draft budget change of 2020 amounting to 876,004 billion IDR.

The value was apparently reduced by 11.96 percent or 119,002 billion IDR from the master budget. The Master Budget 2020 amounted to 995,007 billion IDR.

This was revealed in the Plenary Meeting discussing changes in the Budget in fiscal year 2020, at the Keerom Parliament Office, Tuesday (6/10/2020).

Interim Regent of Keerom, Dr. Muhammad Ridwan Rumasukun, SE, MM, in his speech said Keerom's budget deficit was 11.96 percent, due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Non-natural disasters occur almost all over the world, forcing all regions to make budget adjustments including in Keerom.

"Based on function, indirect spending allocation in the Change Budget 2020 increased 74,672 billion IDR (16.45 percent), or from 453,962 billion IDR to 528,634 billion IDR. The upside occurred in the direct expenditure allocation which was reduced to 193 billion IDR (35.80 billion) or from the previous 541,044 billion IDR to 347,369 billion IDR," he said.

On that occasion, Ridwan invited all parties and all components of society to keep maintaining security stability in order to organize government, development, guidance and community empowerment.

In addition, Ridwan, asking for all support to ensure Keerom district elections on December 9, 2020, ran safely and peacefully.

The chairman of the Keerom Parliament, Bambang Mujiono SE, encouraged the Keerom Government to realize economic growth, especially in lower-level communities in the current pandemic situation.

"Certainly through this economic growth, it is expected that the Keerom Regency Government will build a breakthrough to overcome the crisis caused by this Covid-19 pandemic," he hoped.
