The Grand Committee of National Sports Week XX Papua opened the opportunity to make Robongholo and Nanwani Bottled Drinking Water produced by PDAM Jayapura, as the official drink of the national event.

According to the General Secretary of National Sports Week Committee, Elia Loupatty, AMDK tasted good and fresh. Moreover, the source of water quality comes directly from the Cycloop Mountains and does not use chemicals in the filtration process.

"In fact, we have reviewed the production site in Sentani, Jayapura Regency. We saw the water was very clean in good quality. I think if the local area of Papua can produce drinking water for PON, why we take it from outside Papua".

"But of course this is still under consideration, the decision whether to use AMDK Robongholo, we will decide and discuss in an internal meeting with the field of marketing and leadership elements in the committee," explained Elia in Jayapura, Wednesday (30/06/2021).

In the same place, Director of PDAM Jayapura, Entis Sutisna expects the support of National Sports Week Committee to become AMDK as the drinking water of athletes and officials. Although still in a small amount of production, it is ready to encourage workers to meet the needs requested.

"Currently PDAM Jayapura is able to produce AMDK Robongholo and Nanwani as much as 1,500 cartons per day. But that's the maximum limit and it does require enough human resources to be able to routinely produce on that number".

"But if needed, we will definitely try our best," he concluded.
