The National Sports Week XX Committee ensures that as many as 10 thousand athletes and officials will get safety assurances from BPJS Employment.

That certainty was conveyed by the General Secretary of National Sports Week XX Committee, Elia Loupatty, after signing a cooperation agreement with the management of BPJS Employment, at Hotel Horison Kotaraja, Friday (2/7).

"So with this cooperation, we make sure the athletes and officials do not have to worry anymore about their safety," explained Elijah.

He said that the committee continues to strive to succeed in the implementation of the four-year event through various preparations. The safety service of BPJS became one of the committee projects for all athletes and officials.

So he hopes there is no doubt about PON preparation in four clusters. Now all contingents in Indonesia are encouraged to start preparing to attend the four-yearly event.

"Because for two months in Papua, their safety is guaranteed because since they arrived in Papua, their safety has been guaranteed. And we as hosts are ready to serve seriously," he added.

Head of BPJS Employment Papua Branch Office, I Ketut Arja Leksana stated that he is ready to guarantee all athletes and officials with two programs, namely work accident and death insurance.

Protection is provided since they left for Papua including during training or competition.

"Protections have been in place since September and October," he said.
