Regional Revenue Agency of Papua encourages Local Revenue increase in Motor Vehicle Tax Sector

The Local Revenue (PAD) of Papua Province is still supported by motor vehicle tax receipts (PKB).

Nevertheless, the Papua Regional Revenue Agency (Bapenda) considers it necessary to increase PAD in the sector, there is expected to be an increase of about 5 percent this year.

"Therefore, we are expanding the reach in order to increase the Regional Native Income, especially in the PKB sector. The target is a 5 percent increase for this year," explained the Head of the Regional Revenue Office of Papua Province, Setyo Wahyudi, in Jayapura on Tuesday.

One of the efforts to expand the reach, referred to as Setyo, aims to facilitate services for the community in making PKB payments.

On the other hand, encourage people to make tax payments on time.

"That's why Papua Regional Revenue Agency launched the Motor Vehicle Tax Receipt Service of Papua province through the Indonesian Post Office".

"Cooperation aims to facilitate service to the community to make it easier for people to pay their taxes," he said.

Setyo on that occasion hoped that all Papuans could obey the tax because the community has come together with the government to contribute to carry out development.
