Governor Enembe Asks Papua Coalition to Rise Immediately To Determine Candidates of Deputy Governor

Papua Governor Lukas Enembe asked the Papua Bangkit Coalition Volume II to immediately coordinate the name of the candidate for Deputy Governor, in accordance with the mechanisms and laws and regulations.

That is as the result of governor’s decision with the leadership of the Papua Bangkit Coalition Volume II, in Jayapura, Monday (12/7/2021).

"The result of the Governor's relationship with the Papua Bangkit Coalition Volume II, where Governor Lukas Enembe wants to immediately have a replacement for the late Klemen Tinal as Deputy Governor of Papua," said the Spokesman for the Governor of Papua, Muhammad Rifai Darus, when interviewed by the press.

Rifai said, Governor Lukas highly appreciates the coalition parties that have expressed a compact and solid attitude in escorting his leadership until 2023.

To that end, he asked the public to remain calm and patient and continue to follow the current political dynamics, and not be provoked by issues that divide unity.

"The point is that the governor wants the public to be patient because he has asked his coalition to immediately determine the candidate of Deputy Governor," he said.

Secretary of the Papua Democratic Party, Boy Markus Dawir ensured that he would immediately follow up on the governor's instructions.

Known Papua Bangkit Coalition Volume II, supporters of Lukas Enembe - Klemen Tinal (Lukmen) consist of 8 coalition parties.

Namely, the Democratic Party (8 seats), Nasdem (8 seats), Golkar (6 seats), PAN (6 seats), PKS (3 seats), PKB (3 seats), Hanura (3 seats), and PPP (1 seat).
