Kick Off and Public Consultation I Spatial Planning of Papua is begun

The Papua Provincial Government officially Kick Off and public consultation I revised the Spatial Planning (RTRW).

The results of Kick Off Public Consultation meeting among others concluded that there needs to be a follow-up in the form of several centralized FGD related, participatory and community existence, regional economic development and integration of indigenous peoples.

The Kick Off also aims to build understanding and get input and direction on the revision of the Spatial Planning of Papua Province which is currently underway.

This activity involves the participation of various stakeholders including the People's Consultative Assembly, Papuan Legislative Council, Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency, vertical agencies, elements of provincial/district/municipal government, universities, development partners, NGOs/CSOs, professional associations, donor representatives and media through virtual meetings with zoom applications.
