Papua Province COVID-19 Task Force on Tuesday (11/8/2021) night will soon hold a insulation operation in several areas in Jayapura city, such as the border of Waena, PTC, Taman Imbi and Jembatan Merah.
This health protocol enforcement operation will be coordinated with relevant agencies in Jayapura City, to strengthen each other, in order to achieve optimal results.
This was conveyed by the Chairman of the Papua COVID-19 Task Force, Willem Manderi, in Jayapura, after a meeting with the relevant agencies on Tuesday (10/08/2021).
Not until there, he said, the enforcement of health protocol discipline will involve the TNI-Police in the form of double scanning using rapid antigen and checking travel documents, will also be encouraged at Sentani Airport Jayapura.
"We will also conduct periodic checking operations at non-formal entrances in the border areas of the country along with related agencies that have previously been closed. This is certainly to be able to control the transmission of this coronavirus," he said.
