Governor Enembe become an Inspector at the Independence Day Ceremony 2021

Papua Governor Lukas Enembe is planned to become the Inspector of Ceremonies (Irup) on the 76th Independence Day of The Republic of Indonesia held at the State Building, Dok V, Jayapura.

Nevertheless, the Independence Day of Indonesia took place on a limited basis.

This was conveyed by the Head of the Papua Communication and Informatics Department (Kominfo), Jery Yudianto, in Jayapura on Monday.

"The ceremony is still held but limited according to the instructions of the Secretary of State," he explained.

While the reason for holding in the State Building, because the number of participants according to the instructions is very limited. It only followed by representatives from State Civil Apparatus , the Corps of Civil Servants of the Republic of Indonesia (KORPRI), National Army / Police, and students.

"The point is we must apply strict health protocols in limited capacity. And of course solemnity and spirit of the Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia certainly not lost, "he said.

The Independence Day ceremony will be held from 10.00 to 11.00 WIT. After that continued following the ceremony virtually from the State Palace, Jakarta, specifically for the Coordination Forum for Regional Leaders (Forkopimda) of Papua.

While the Flag-lowering ceremony will take place from 17.00 to 18.00 WIT continued the ceremony virtually from the State Palace, Jakarta at 19.00 WIT.

As for the community, Jery added, asked to remain in each other's homes and not gather for any reason outside the house.
