Papua Governor Lukas Enembe officially launched a website application program aimed at using the community, while encouraging contribution to the progress of Papua through the economic field.

The two websites are, the Supervision Application System of National Economic Recovery Program (SIAP WAROPEN) and the Credit Regional Financial Access Acceleration Program (PAPEDA).

The launch was held on Wednesday (18/8/2021), at the State Building, Dok V, Jayapura, which was attended by the Coordination Forum for Regional Leaders of Papua, agency leaders and officials of State - Owned Enterprises and Regional owned enterprises.

Governor Enembe in his speech hoped that the two application programs could help people who are currently "at war" against" the COVID-19 pandemic.

He also advised that the parties who run these programs, can carry out optimally and on target, so that the benefits can be felt by all parties, especially the people in Papua.

"The point is not to let technology like the SIAP WAROPEN WEBSITE be good only at the beginning but it must be filled with information and others, so that the community gets benefits without exception," he said.

Governor Enembe on that occasion confirmed the two newly launched application programs, a combination of technology and welfare.

Where the two are closely related between economics-welfare and economy-technology.

"Therefore, I hope this program can be really utilized by the community. In hopes of encouraging regional economic progress more specifically the economy of own family, "he said.
